A Repository Of African Folk Stories, Culture and Traditions

The aim of this project is to document African literary works, languages, culture and traditions so that they can be passed down to generations to come. Africa is a continent of colors, songs and rich heritage blessed with natural resources. Folk stories and traditions in Africa are drawn mostly from it's environments, usually based on creatures and attributes of tropical rain forests - tropical animals, woods, forests, streams, rivers, rocks, mountains, narrow streets, moonlight, traditional religions, gods and goddess, etc often animated to convey a message with moral lessons. Though some might have been fictional, Africans tell these folk stories with a passion as though they happened. This is an experience that helps to shape the value system, communal life, strong family

Please join me in making this project a success!
