search of greener pastures is gradually getting stronger. M

office in Oregun is always a busy day. Cars litter the front
of the expansive office. Young people clutching files and
giant-sized envelopes scamper around to put various
documents together, and several hours before the office
opens for the day's business, they form a long queue in
front of the gate.

NUC Disowns
Open Varsity Programmes
The National
Universities Commission has distanced itself from the activities of the
National Open University of Nigeria, saying that its programmes are not
recognised by it.The NUC has also directed all universities in the
country to halt the introduction of new programmes until the commission
gives its approval to the already existing ones.
